Qoder CN admitted one base64 PNG whose compressed bytes were bounded but whose declared IHDR width/height could be extremely large, allowing small compressed inputs to represent very large rasters and risking downstream decode-bomb resource exhaustion.
Description
Add conservative pre-spawn raster guards MAX_CN_PNG_EDGE = 8192 and MAX_CN_PNG_PIXELS = 16_000_000 and enforce them in boundedPngDataUrl before CLI discovery.
Preserve existing compressed-byte (MAX_CN_PNG_BYTES) and IHDR checks while adding the per-edge and total-pixel checks so the adapter still rejects malformed or oversize compressed inputs early.
Add regression tests that exercise oversized width, oversized height, and excessive pixel-count rejections plus an accepted boundary case in tests/providers/qoder-cn-image-validation.test.ts.
Update the owning architecture contract and user-facing provider guide to document the new CN raster ceilings (structure/providers/chat-compat.md and docs-site/src/content/docs/guides/providers.md).
Current follow-up at 33dad092c460fb514619f7f965b55f443e0dec5f
The rejection message now names the decoded 1 MiB limit, 8192 pixels per edge, and 16,000,000 total pixels. Existing exact-event tests assert the full message for rejected inputs. Raster admission, the accepted boundary fixtures, and dependencies are unchanged by this wording fix. Integrated upstream dev c34d26ff while preserving the original commits; the merged feature remains focused in five files including this adapter-message follow-up.
Native Windows, pinned Bun1.4.4, isolated test homes: 53 pass / 191 assertions, typecheck 2,252 files, structure/privacy/file-size gates, docs build 633 pages / 91,435 internal links, and git diff --check pass. Independent read-only review found no blocker. The initial file-size scan lacked sparse GUI files; adding the tracked GUI/skills scope fixed the environment rather than weakening validation. Exact-head Cross-platform CI41121411022 and Catalog41121411177 succeeded, all required checks pass, and no unresolved review threads remain. The PR is ready for maintainer review; merge/security acceptance remain separate. This does not claim vendor CLI image understanding or repeat the prior Linux/Pillow validation below.
Original implementation testing
Ran bun test tests/providers/qoder-cn-image-validation.test.ts tests/providers/qoder-image-input.test.ts, which returned 50 pass, 0 fail for the focused suites.
Ran bun run typecheck with no type errors.
Ran bun run structure:check and git diff --check, both succeeded.
bun run test:changed could not run due to this checkout lacking a dev/remote comparison ref, so the focused tests above were executed instead.

bun test tests/providers/qoder-cn-image-validation.test.ts tests/providers/qoder-image-input.test.ts: 53 passed, 0 failed, 191 assertions on native Linux Bun 1.4.4 (1.46 s). Typecheck passed for 2,236 files. The generated 8000×2000 / 8192×1 / 1×8192 fixtures passed independent chunk CRC, zlib raster-length and Pillow full-decode checks. This follow-up changes only the existing test file; raster limits, product code and dependencies are unchanged. No vendor CLI or Windows run is claimed. New-head hosted CI/review remain outstanding.
PNG images submitted through the Qoder CN raw-image route are now rejected if either edge exceeds 8,192 pixels or the image exceeds 16 million pixels. The existing 1 MiB decoded-size limit remains in effect.
Images at the pixel and dimension limits continue to be accepted when they meet the other validation requirements.

Walkthrough
The Qoder CN PNG validator now limits each image edge to 8,192 pixels and total image area to 16 million pixels. Tests cover rejection and acceptance at these limits. Two documentation sources describe the updated constraints.

Summary
Enforce and document PNG limits src/adapters/qoder/image-input.ts, tests/providers/qoder-cn-image-validation.test.ts, docs-site/src/content/docs/guides/providers.md, structure/providers/chat-compat.md
The validator rejects PNGs that exceed either pixel limit. Tests cover dimensions above the limits and valid raster images at the boundaries, within the existing 1 MiB decoded-size ceiling. Both documentation sources state the new limits.
Oversized images are rejected as intended, but users may not know why. The change is mergeable with this guidance issue tracked.

…ly suite (lidge-jun#8016)
* test(claude): report the hardened local-CA ACL in the first-party apply suite
The local-CA ACL inspection spawns PowerShell under the shared 30 s principal budget, which a loaded hosted Windows runner exhausted (windows 1/11 of lane=all run 41073826161: local_ca_path_unsafe after 30095 ms). This suite covers first-party apply; inject the private ACL for the real current SID through the existing seam. Native inspection stays covered by claude-intercept-local-ca-windows.test.ts.
* test(claude): read the cached SID inside the injected ACL runner and reset it in finally
Review: no separate principal lookup before the environment snapshot; reset the seam even if the hardening drain throws.
